what services do you offer?

  • Designing, building and installation of kitchen cabinets.

  • Built-in cabinetry such as libraries, bookcases, entertainment centers, additional storage, closet build-outs and bars.

  • Custom furniture such as dining tables, coffee tables, beds, footboards/headboards and desks.

  • Interior trim such as crown molding, wainscoting, stair re-treads, wood accent walls and mantels.  

do you install countertops, finish drywall, or handle electrical or plumbing work?

  • While I am not a general contractor, I can work with your GC or deisgner, and can provide some referrals for select trades.  

are the cabinets custom- built for every job?

  • Yes.  You get to pick the style, materials, finishes, layout and sizes to best fit your space, needs and budget. 

  • I can work from plans you provide or have drawings prepared.

can we supply the design or idea for our next project?

  • Definitely!  Design services range from starting from scratch to working off of full specifications from an architect or designer. Send your inspiration, thoughts, plans or pictures and we will get started.  

Payment schedule

  • An over-the-phone or video conference (e.g. Facetime) estimate is no cost.

  • Full design services range in price, but a typical kitchen, including measuring, layout, prints and samples of materials and finishes/colors is about $500 and is collected at time of service.

  • A 50% down payment is required on all cabinets and furniture; balance is due upon completion.

  • Interior trim work, depending on the scope, typically requires no down payment; full balance is due upon completion.

Timeline and scheduling

  • Estimates are provided within 24 hours of initial phone consultation.

  • Full service design, layout, material selection and actual price is typically completed within 7 days.

  • A typical kitchen cabinet installation, including removal of existing cabinets, is 4-5 days.

  • Installation of built-in cabinetry, bathroom vanities and interior trim is typically 1-2 days.

  • Once the contract is finalized, work is typically completed in 6-8 weeks.

Standard cabinet features

Unless specified, cabinets include the following:

  • Boxes are made of 1/2" pre-finished maple plywood.

  • For painted cabinetry, doors are 3/4" maple stiles and rails (the frame of the door) with 1/2" MDF panels for stability.

  • Face-frame cabinetry (as opposed to European frame-less cabinetry).

  • Blum soft close hinges. 

  • Blum undermount soft close drawer glides.

  • Dovetailed drawers, either solid wood or finished plywood.
